I left my stable IT job to pursue my passion in pageantry and founded Gleamdiva Academy. I faced challenges and criticism, but by following my passion and taking risks, I found a fulfilling career and have helped over 1500+ girls and ladies to reach their full potential. I've always been shy

Growing up, I was just a normal girl with so many inferiority complexes given by society, a commerce Graduate with no extraordinary dreams or aspirations. My parents, like any other typical Indian parents, wanted me to get a job in a secure industry like IT, so I could have a good life. So, I followed their wishes and landed a job in the IT industry. I worked hard with different organizations like Mercer Consulting, Ericsson, IBM, and World Network Services climbing the corporate ladder and achieving success. But deep down, I knew that this was not where my heart lay.

For years, I struggled internally, feeling lost and unsure of what my true passion was or how to pursue it. It wasn't until I discovered a love for pageantry that I realized what I truly wanted to do with my life. But the road to pursuing this newfound passion was far from easy.

Society had conditioned me to believe that married women had no place in beauty pageants, and so I never even considered it as a career option. Despite this, I took a leap of faith and entered a beauty pageant, and to my surprise, I won several titles, including Mrs India Worldwide and Mrs Delhi, Mrs Talented & Mrs Photogenic. It was an overwhelming experience, and I discovered a passion within myself that I never knew existed.

But my external struggles had only just begun. Society did not take kindly to a married woman participating in beauty pageants. I faced criticism and judgment from those around me, but I did not let it deter me. I knew that this was my calling, and I had to pursue it no matter what.

So, I made the difficult decision to leave my stable 8 years IT job to pursue my newfound passion in pageantry at the age of 30. It was a risk, but it was a risk worth taking. With my experience in both the corporate world and pageantry, I founded Gleamdiva Academy, a platform for aspiring models and pageant contestants to succeed. The academy has been affiliated with the FEMINA Miss India Organization as a TALENT PARTNER from last so many years.

In 2022, I launched two national pageants and a fashion show, showcasing my deep understanding of the industry and at the sometime learning more about this industry to execute the same. With my comprehensive knowledge of what judges look for on stage and technical training from the London School of Pageantry, I helped over 1500+ girls and ladies to reach their full potential, transforming not only their careers but their lives..

Throughout my journey, I experienced conflict and challenges, both internal and external. But by following my passion and taking risks, I have found a career that truly fulfils me and allows me to make a difference in the lives of others.
